Acquisition of Healthscout Network Makes it Top-Five Consumer Health

MDchoice Networks Expands to Over 200 Affiliates
SOMERVILLE,
N.J., May 29 /PRNewswire/ -- MDchoice.com, Inc. announced today that
it has purchased from Rx Remedy, Inc. Healthscout.com, one of the most
visited and respected health web sites, and the Healthscout Network
of co-branded affiliate web sites. The Healthscout Network consists
over 200 affiliates including Yahoo, USAToday.com, InfoSpace, iWon and
ATT Worldnet.
The HealthScout
Network is a leading Internet provider and distributor of consumer health
information, news and tools. Healthscout.com is winner of eHealthcareWorld's
Silver Award for Best Health Portal. RxRemedy, Inc. is publisher of
REMEDY Magazine, the second largest consumer health magazine in the
U.S.
The acquisition
will give MDchoice, already one of the most active health information
and education web sites, a total of more than 1.5 million health-conscious
visitors each month, according to PC Data comScore. The acquisition
will make MDchoice one of the five largest online consumer health networks
in the U.S.
