Orbital Blowout

Blow out fracture of the orbital floor with entrapment of the inferior rectus (the muscle under the eyeball that helps make the eye move) in the broken bone. Depending on the extent of injury, entrapment may resolve with resolution of swelling. If entrapment persists, treatment is surgical.
