Sweet's syndrome:
A 30-year-old woman presented with fever, an elevated white blood cell count,
joint pains, and a painful rash of 1-day's duration. The lesions were sharply
bordered, elevated, red plaques that were extremely tender; They were located
on her lower neck and shoulders. This clinical presentation is consistent with
Sweet's syndrome. (L.S.)
